Dr. Kirk Bliss, D.O.

Dr. Bliss, from Maize, KS, completed his undergraduate studies at Emporia State University and graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College. After practicing chiropractic medicine, he returned to medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. He completed an osteopathic internship in Wichita and a residency with the University of Kansas School of Medicine at WesleyCare Family Practice. Dr. Bliss has practiced in Medicine Lodge and at West Wichita Family Physicians.

An aviation medical examiner, Dr. Bliss performs flight physicals and holds a private pilot’s license. He enjoys flying his 1951 Cessna 195 and is building a Vans RV-8 experimental airplane.

Dr. Bliss enjoys practicing in a rural setting, where he values the ability to provide comprehensive care from the ER to the clinic and hospital. He appreciates reconnecting with former patients and friends and meeting new families in a welcoming, close-knit community.
